RE: Research from the Global Voice (do your own)

RE: Research from the Global Voice (do your own) Now is a good time for new producers to enter the magnesium metal market. At present, at least 80% of the global market is met by producers in China. Environmental considerations are a major and growing influence. In China, there are more than 70 primary magnesium producers, of which about 50 are in operation, and the number is falling. Most production capacity uses the Pidgeon (thermal) process, which is vulnerable to increasingly stringent environmental regulation. A new magnesium pollution standard came into force in part of China in October 2018, cutting permitted Mg particulate emissions by 80% to 10Mg/m3. If adopted throughout the country, all production via the Pidgeon process is theoretically at risk of closure. The time has come for Western Magnesium revolutionary technology to become the future of Magnesium Metal production in the 21st. century and beyond.
