CabbieJBJ, adding to your post, has anyone seen any instance of Apple settling a patent infringement case earlier than they absolutely had to? I'm not aware of any such cases. The only possible early settlement that Apple might consider would be if Quarterhill was willing to take a materially lesser amount. Even if Quarterhill was willing to settle for $135 to $150 million USD, that's still far more than the $10 or $26 million that Apple has offered.
