Reverse split

Reverse split
kramaswamy, you are right about the reverse split.  It really would not change anything.  It would not help the company get a loan, and it would not change market cap.  However, if this company does plan to survive, it needs a decent share price and share count.  The current share price and the 800M share count is a joke.  No self-respecting investor would buy this stock.  The stock price and share count makes the stock suitable only for penny stock flippers.

I want this company to be a respectable investment vehicle.  I want it to be a proxy for zinc.  Maybe that will never happen because management has botched the opportunity so badly.  But maybe there is still hope.

I do not know if now is the right time to attempt a reverse split, but it does need to be done at some point.  Maybe they need to see if the company can survive first.  It is definitely on life support right now.  It is so sad because zinc at $1 would be pretty good news if not for the bone headed decision to lock in treatment costs exactly at the all-time high.
