Weighing The Salt

Weighing The SaltWe are embarking upon a global reflation.
Any thoughts of a deflationary collapse are a dim and distant memory.
Demand for Chinese infrastructure and a declining virus-infested yankee dollar are driving a powerful bull market for gold, silver, copper, iron, live cattle and a host of other commodities.

Against this backdrop, 

1) CGP has rightly rejected an impoverished offer to be taken over by SolGold, a company with no underground mining history and little ability (without plundering the payrolls of established underground miners such as BHP and NCM) to develop Cascabel, one of 3 largest ore deposits in the world.

 2) FNV is effectively being prevented from closing its NSR with SolGold.
FNV is not unhappy with this development, IMHO.
FNV may have realized it moved too quickly.

3) If we move back 60 days from October 27th - the date of a requisitioned meeting to replace SolGold's board - methinks that much may be quiet until late August, when pro-tem board cast members may be announced. These cast members MAY change.

And a final thought that fits here in these lazy days of summer.
We may NOT see or hear from BHP until October 19th.
And we may NOT see or hear from NCM for a shorter period of time.
