Quidel test problemshttps://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/07/22/nation/tale-two-tests-vermont-city-left-puzzled-by-positive-then-negative-covid-19-results/?outputType=amp&__twitter_impression=true Has this been shared? There's no way Quidel has a product that's ready for widespread use. They rushed their product out and I see it backfiring on them soon. Their in-house validation used frozen samples. No third party validation or clinical trials. Now they claim 96.7% accuracy? It's crazy to claim that without a third party validation. I can see a lawsuit at some point.
Although most of us here wanted Sona to have a product out in April as Jim implied in his interview, the Sona team has made all the right moves. Product development takes time. A couple months ago I was dreaming about the day this stock hits $10. Now we're at $14 and not even approved yet. Triple digits will easily be achievable here. David said we can produce 1 billion tests (no timeline on that). We have one shot to get the best product on the market and then mass produce the sh*t out of it. Imagine if we are invested in the gold standard of testing. A demand as big as it gets and a competition with an inferior product. This company is going to change a lot of lives!
