RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:riocan is getting into residentials properties. You are right. In many ways BPY and RioCan are the same. Terrible bets from both. What makes BPY a completely different animal is BAM and their nearly unlimited funds to redeveloping. They bought all those US Class A malls. Terrible choice at first glance. Not so much though. They bought those malls for the lot to redevelop. You can do that when it is a heavyweight behind you. I am not going to flash how many shares of BPY I own. It is enough to make some people question their investment choices. I do that because I have utmost confidence that I will get what is mine one way or another. Either collecting insane dividend yield through preferreds and commons or getting buyout at 15$. My average is below 10$ so It is all gravy from here
