NuVista Energy Ltd. is an oil and natural gas company, which is engaged in the exploration for, and the development and production of, oil and natural gas reserves in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Its primary focus is on the scalable and repeatable condensate rich Montney formation in the Alberta Deep Basin (Wapiti Montney). Its core operating areas of Wapiti and Pipestone in the Montney formation are located near the City of Grande Prairie, Alberta, approximately 600 kilometers northwest of Calgary. Its Montney Formation is a shale gas and shale oil resource. The Montney formation in the Wapiti area is a thick (200m+) section of hydrocarbon-charted fine-grained reservoir found at depths ranging from 2,500-3,500m.

you might be right Aila but i don't know if i think you are... total owned shares as of the July 17th filing for GMT was 22.7MM shares which is after the 3MM shares they sold mid month.

if you add up all of the daily volume of shares traded from July 20th till end of day today, it totals 19MM shares. If GMT is unloading all of their shares then that would mean they are the ONLY seller of shares for the past 10 trading days and still have 3MM shares left in their holdings..

while they might be a seller of some, i'm certainly hoping they have not completely lost faith. Tuesday end of day Q2 Earnings should provide more insight on how Nuvista is doing.
