Some time ago, about 55 years, I learned that people who did not embrace Jesus would go to hell!
The unfairness of this statement, towards very large numbers of people was one of the reasons to start me doubting all the good things that I'd learned about God, Jesus and the Invisible Guy.

Thinking, of course, is not an activity which is much appreciated by the fundamentalist die-hard leaders of the faith.
Troy, as we know, is of the believing- and not of the thinking kind. I could not consider him as an example of Homo Sapiens (wise/thinking man).
This could well mean that Troy does not understand the following clever latin words: "HOMO SAPIENS NON URINAT IN VENTUM", as he is continuously practising this activity and people always want to stand upwind from him.

This is good. You're raising issues. Your first issue is why some people go to Hell when they never even heard of Jesus. I can explain. Let's say you are on some remote island. You worshiped the God of the mountains and stars, very Creator of the universe. The answer is surely if you accept this God you would accept Jesus since Jesus is God, and thus, you would be saved. Nothing exists that exists the Bible says without Jesus creating it. Jesus is not the Father, nor the Spirit, but the Son. The Trinity of God. When Jesus prayed, He prayed to the Father and did the perfect will of the Father, that only Jesus could do. You raised an issue with the books of the Bible and the Roman Catholic Church. The RCC are not Christians. The RCC is the great harlot of religious Rome that will be destroyed in Rev. 17. They add books to the 66 books of the Bible, among many other great sins that separate them from the One True God. That is how they express their hostility to God. Your other issue is gods. God is accessible and personal. Your other gods are not accessible and personal so you know they cannot be true. You can go over the 4 accessible faiths in their largess: Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity. Islam is false because you can't come along 6 centuries later and claim Jesus never died. Evidence matters. Hinduism is false because salvatrion is not by works to continue reincarnation until you get it right. Your works could never satisfy God. Never will. Buddhism incites you to shut your mind down in repetitive mantra, but God of the Bible would never have you shut your mind down. He gives you senses and abilities and talents to explore and develop. So the reason you are going to Hell is because you are a sinner and you don't want God's saving grace by paying the penalty for your sins which is Hell. The obvious question next is why would someone not want to give their life to Christ when clearly the evidence points to Jesus being God? The answer is self is your center not God. You are so selfish you place yourself at the center of all things even above God. You're a bad guy!
