RE:RE:Shareholder Voting from Marathon

RE:RE:Shareholder Voting from Marathon
RB,

I've been more bothered with repeated calls daily from "The Department of Justice" apparently acting on behalf of the CRA.  They seem to indicate theCurse is looking at potential jail time!  i finally started trying to order pizza's from them when they called.  The last guy, instead of hanging up like the rest have, actually went along with it and pretended to take my pizza order.  we both had a good laugh and that's been the last call.  yeah - i'm a little bored.

I'll pick my battles and corp voting is not one of them.  unless something incredibly unsual were to come up...and again - just on principle with no expectation of usefulness.  I'd rather waste my time ordering pizza's from some scam center in India.

It reminds me of the takeover/merger of Semafo and Endeavour earlier this year - all these Semafo posters on SH screaming about what a theft it was, the injustice of it all, they were all going to vote against it.  It was approved >99% of the Semafo shareholders (and EDV for that matter).  Unless there is a pre-arranged public mutiny by large holders/institutions, it's a done deal before the vote.  Kinda like the old Soviet Union elections!

Double cheese, bacon, mushroom and anchovy.
