O.T. - The Death Valley Girls Honor Our Bullboard

O.T. - The Death Valley Girls Honor Our BullboardThe end of the month is always hard on me.
I hate dealing with paying bills or filling out forms.
-
[ I also hate flossing my teeth every night, but I do it anyway,
once with peroxide and once with chlorine. - no cavities this century.]
-
I pay my bills by using our banks’ website: one personal bank and one corporate bank.
I have not put a stamp on an envelope to pay a bill in years.
Now an engineer, who escaped from Cuba, told me he has never met anyone with so little self discipline. Manana is my middle name.
I have not gone to a hardware store this year.
I have not gone to the bank this year.
I have a shoe box full of thousands of dollars of checks to deposit.
-
Monday was bill paying day, but I just couldn’t get in the mood.
I have been waking up this week at around 7:00 P.M. in the evenings, which doesn’t help.
-
Tuesday, after stalling till after midnight, by playing about a hundred games of Microsoft Solitaire, I resolved to force myself to pay half my bills, that is my personal bills.
There were about six of them, it was after midnight and it went rather smoothly.
-
Wednesday, I stalled until after midnight, by eating eight candy bars.
I always gain weight during these end-of-month ordeals.
I resolved to force myself to pay the other half my bills, that is, our corporate bills.
There were about six of them, it was after midnight and it went rather smoothly.
-
I tell people that I can only do one thing a day, but it took me three days to pay hardly a dozen bills.

I had assumed that the indie rock [independent record labels] scene had come to a halt do to the Wuhan Virus.
They typically go on tours that are several months long.
They play a different venue in a different city every night.
Traveling and sleeping in a van stuffed with all their equipment.
This is how I see the Death Valley Girls, Arrow [A.K.A. Starcrawler], Annie Hardy [A.K.A. Giant Drag], & L.A. Witch.
[ It sounds miserable to me. I must be getting old. ]
-
Everything came to a stop, trying to make due with poverty rate unemployment.
But here is a surprise.
They all went to Plan ‘B’.
They are all putting out an unprecedented number of new records and albums.
-
An odd thing about indie rock, it that they put out vinyl records.
I don’t understand it, I may have a turntable that has been stuffed away in the attic for forty years.
I only purchase CD’s, to me vinyl is obsolete, good riddance.
I have pre-ordered the upcoming Death Valley Girls’, and L.A. Which’s, CD albums from Suicide Squeeze Records.
But vinyl seems to be a cult thing with indie rock.
Typically they are limited editions, perhaps adding some collector interest.
They are typically unusual, such as a tie died color scheme, or a graffiti theme, appearance on the vinyl.

Yippie, it was after midnight and I just finished my bill paying chores.
I will send an e-mail Bonnie Bloomgarden.
-
Now I often discuss the same topics with Bonnie as I discuss here.
I often refer to this Bullboard as the ‘Gold Miners’ Bullboard.
Quote:
Anyway, with half the people out of a job, and half the small business going bankrupt, how is it that the stock market keeps going up?
How is it that we are being fed that the near future is hunky-dory?
It is a puzzle to me. You would think the world would be crashing.
Peep2 recently got me to listen to Gregory Mannarino.
He talks about the stock market every morning and afternoon.
He seems to have answers to the question.
-
Here is his 12-minute summary from Tuesday afternoon.
Please give it a listen.

End Quote.
-
Surprisingly Bonnie responded a half hour later.
Quote:
We have a new record coming out in October and we chose gold for the limited edition color - in honor of you :)

Sweet dreams!
Bonnie

End Quote.
-
So I would like to extend the honor to this our ‘Gold Miners’ Bullboard.
I just ordered my ‘Gold Vinyl LP’ in the middle of this sentence.
I had to use the PayPal option to get my card to work.
I will mount mine on the wall.
By the way, this purchase includes five MP3 downloads.

By the way.
Peep2 expressed interest in alternate street order.
I am starting a rumor, “Bonnie Bloomgarden plays Street Fighting Man in an endless loop.
Here is a remarkable - believe it or not - acoustical guitar version.
-

-
Here is Bonnie Bloongarden’s Street Justice

Nations head in the sand
Fingers in their ears
eyes covered by hands
They don't wanna understand
. . .
. . .
Everyone likes to hide
Hide from the truth
can't admit it's them
That it's not you

Oh we can be free, we can die in the street
Street Justice will prevail
For you and me

-
Here is Bonnie Bloomgarden Broadcasting it from KPXP-FM radio in Seattle.
This is one of the last appearances before the Wuhan Virus shut everything down.
Like that crystal necklace I gave her, it is exactly like mine?
