RE:RE:I share ur disappointment

RE:RE:I share ur disappointmentUS MSOs are getting beat down too!  They are heavily relying on US Fed legalization or something similar and like almost all new companies, it takes time to show black ink.  There are a few that are doing better than others but I'm seeing halts and suspensions and several seem to be swirling the bowl.  Borrowed money is carrying a usury rate premium for pot loans, if they can get the money at all.  Acreage went to the street and got sharked at 60% rate for their short term loan but at least they got Canopy's attention enough to re-write the deal as no longer fair and secured some backing financially.  What they needed the money for seemed to be a good fit, so much so, that they signed on for some pretty expensive buying power.  There was also a Canadian company that secured financing at about the same rate, so pot venture money commands a stiff premium.  Time is the enemy for all of these MSO's but we are only 90 days out for the election where we could get a greenrush launch in the US.  I don't know what "triggering event" it will take for Canopy to go all in on the US but they are strategizing and locking up deals for this when it happens.  And they have money in the bank and Constellation in their hip pocket for backing if they need more.  Politicians and policy makers are fearful of making mistakes so slow is the normal but I still think this could make it to the presidential ballot.  glta and dyodd
