RE:Another profitable quarter for IPL
RE:Another profitable quarter for IPL My wife & I are long term IPL holders since Mar, 2010. I would beg to differ with you on the IPL management front. To me Bayle seems like a bit of a BTO (Big Time Operator) more interested in growth at any cost so he can collect his big bonuses. He reminds me a lot of ALA's CEO Harris who made huge mistakes with California assests and then the total failure WGL purchase before they finally punted him.
I always thought doing Heratland on its own was a huge mistake and still do. IPL was once a great dividend growth company but now is a bit of a mess.
At this point, all my wofe & I can do is wait it out and
hope all goes reasonably well with Heartland. Lots of risks with it still.

Finally they see a partnership on this mega project as the way to go.... but structured in a way IPL can buy a potential partner out with ease .
amazing management, with very long term vision.
excellent , conservative energy , pipeline, and polypropylene and other conglomerate company.
next year at this time I would be shocked if it's under 19.00-22.00. Should be about 24- 26.00 / share next years
