Source of Raw Material

In Reading about the wild fluctuations in Canola's commodity price. Does anyone know Merit's/Burcon's relationship with the raw materila ie. farm/farm's. Do they own the farm/farms? are they locked in for a certain time at a certain price. It seems that this may be a component in establishing their upcoming business model. Thanks
