RE:Research the competition First and foremost, Sona needs to receive EUA or everything else is moot. Second, Sona's competition also needs to receive EUA. This includes Quidel and RD complying with the new FDA anitgen guidlines. Which I believe will be a challenge given their false negitive rate.
Finally, the demand for rapid test kits exceeds the production capacity of any one company. We can hope that Sona becomes the "first choice" for antigen tests. Only times will tell.
