RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Dumb as a door knob ?Well i3 are proceeding with their acquisition of Gain Energy with or without Toscana. And the metrics of the purchase are similar so it doesn't seem that Toscana shareholders are being hard done by.
I thought originally that i3 might try to secure Toscana first & the Gain acquisition would be dependent on that but clearly not.
So I don't think i3 will be increasing their offer for Toscana regardless of the outcome of the vote. If shareholders vote no they will simply seize the assets and Toscana shareholders will get nothing. There really does only seem to be one sensible option now if shareholders want a chance to get some of their money back. And that's to vote yes to the i3 deal.
