RE:Shorts up over 500,000 more

RE:Shorts up over 500,000 moreIf you have read any of my posts it's clear why this stock is sick and trades at such a massive discount.

1. management is not trusted by the markets, investors would rather pay up for clear leadership. The sooner they announce a strategic review the better as they can't be trusted with all of that cash.
2. Lack of consistent drill results to prove grades and resources will not drop off a cliff. They need to highlight drilling and resource growth.
3. All of this financial engineering and creeping takeover efforts attracts funds that short GCM as a hedge, it's not like you can hedge Caldas. The current note offering is probably attracting even more shorts.
4. Last but not least Sprott selling is a headwind but he will eventually stop or run out of stock.

This is all resolved with an activist fund or independent strategic review and if they stop doing dumb deals. Despite themselves this should outperform if gold dips and in a year hopefully it's acquired by the Chinese.
