RE:Finally, Mr. Doucet kept his word. These are some of their best holes to date on Cheechoo.
Anyone on this board capable of calculating how many ounces they add to their gold tally for this project? It's gotta be nearing 2 million ounces. In particular, CH20- 258, 265 and 266 are sizeable intercepts with some very nice HG or in between.
I'm of the opinion that SOI will heat up now that Eastmain is sold (deal still to close), as the suitor will likely sell their stake to in Eleonore south to Newmont, which will automatically also unlock the value in AZM's stake, and finally revalue Cheechoo.
These new intercepts outside the known pit are very timely as SOI will likely get a fuller valuation of Cheechoo as it continues to demonstrate the potential in it and the greater Eleonore South camp.
Am I misinterpreting something here, or are these higher grade results the initial sparks that prove that the greater camps of Cheechoo and Eleonore South have much more potential on delivering 2-4 million ounces of .69grams (min) to 1 gram (potential) if combined, as Eleonore South is already of higher grade.
I don' see how Newmont won't make a run for this in 2021, especially in the rising gold price market that will continue for years to come, when their unsatiable mill right next door badly needs ore/feeder stock.
