RE:Texas?Lynas will supply BLJV final separation with speicific SEG+, NdPr & La carbonates from a primary SX circuit behind Kalgoorlie C&L.
The scale of that operation, and streaming of specific elements in carbonate, will set up a cost base none can remotely compete with, particularly as LAMP Malaysia will be reconfigured to maximise NdPr + NdO and value add LaCe.
Lynas will also expand upstream with likely alt monazite waste feedstock to compliment MtW.
US supply chain will get nowhere without inputs competitive to China, and Lynas the only one remotely positioned to do so. Once a backbone is in place, which will involve UK & Japanese involvement, any domestic company that can be competitive will have access to join that supply chain.
MDL is setting up on a cost structure that suggests it will be one of the first to do so.
