RagingBull (aptly named :)), I feel your frustration, but one cannot underestimate the roles the regulators play in all of this, preventing the company from "speaking" more freely in the news releases to keep the shareholders more informed. There are so many rules about what you can or cannot say, and at the end of the day the regular shareholder gets burned. I would not put this squarely on the company.
