The deal to deal for the US greenrush is building on its initiative all the time. This link confirms what I have theorized before about Acreage being the segway for Canopy infused beverages in the US. Sadly the politician that put Acreage together caused a lot of disdain with shareholders and investors and it seems everybody has forgotten what Acreage is all-about. Acreage is the critical piece for Canopy to rapidly launch in the US when we get a triggering effect which means some kind of legislation at the Federal level to allow the American marijuana industry to flourish and have access to business tools that are available to all other US businesses. God bless those US potpreneurs who are building cannabinoid businesses using the loopholes and legislation that allows medical use and rec use for adults, where allowed. They are doing this without banking, brokering, ability to have scientific companies test and prove that there are medical benefits to be derived from marijuana and hemp and a lot of them are cash only businesses which has got to be a pain in the azz and have huge liability potential for robbery.
Acreage is going to need scheduling or descheduling at the Federal level and it is coming because that is what the voting public want. There is a good solid US MSO base building and closing the gap to black ink which puts Acreage into a unique postion of being a bargain, subject to a US greenrush launch. The real value is Canopy and the deal they have pending. Canopy needs what Acreage has and have clearly got the US in the crosshairs for a world leadership marijuana company. Canopy has paid cash for Acreage and now the final settlement is shares of Canopy for Acreage. They are also backing with financing to bring this to the triggering event.
Beverages are the future for big revenue generation and Canopy's are screaming off shelves in Canada at up to $10 a can. I can see the same thing happening in the US times 10 when Acreage gets them on shelves and in time the price will become competitive with alcohol. Consumers are ready for a new, healthier vice and are speaking up about it. It is just the lazy politicians that aren't willing to do the work! Get 'er done!
