I bought PONY when they announced they were partnering in with ALA to ship propane through RIPET. PONY's land base was great and the future of natural gas seemed (and still looks) bright and honestly figured the partnership might be a starting point to lead to some kind of natural gas developement (didn't come to fruition)
Then with Tourmaline being in the vicinity, there was grounds for some kind of partnership there...(no fruition again) Instead TOU bought the land they wanted and looks to have moved on...
There seems to be enough bigger companies around that would benefit from PONY's assets, but (to use a fishing term) the bait on the hook must be sour

PONY simply couldn't catch a break. Just as they were ramping up production, and felt the need to sign the contracts needed to guarantee delivery ( contracts that are now hurting us ), the US started pumping out what seemed like endless amounts of cheap gas from very prolific wells in the Appalacians. But then the US started building LNG export facilities like mad, and we were once again riding high. Sadly, high oil prices brought on a lot of secondary gas from the shale oil boom, which caused nat gas to slide once again. And then we had Covid............

So even though it appears that nat gas is once again poised to be the star attraction, it seems that it is simply too little too late, our fate was sealed months ago,

We own a world class asset, but due to circumstances mostly out of our control, we lost the ability to exploit that wonderful accumulation of nature's bounty.

And we can thank Trudeau, for all that... (I'm at the point for even blaming him for COVID. Ha Ha)
