Convalescent Plasma not a big deal for LMNL - no money in itIf LMNL gets a pump tomorrow on the basis of Trump's announcement today about the FDA authorization for the use of Convalescent Plasma to treat Covid, that will be only due to uninformed retail investors ready to jump on any Covid investment. They will be very disappointed when eventually this does not produce any significant revenue for LMNL who is part of the Covid consortium.
Why? Because while the treatment may work, all it amounts to is collecting blood from donors and then transfusing the same blood into the patient. There is no processing or secret that makes iit work. So there will not be any real money coming from the simple resale of unprocessed blood plasma. So anyone who understands the treatment realizes that there is no big revenue for LMNL to come as a result of this treatment even if it works and is great for the patients.
