RE:OMG Worste hitWorst hit.... It all depends when you got in and what is your expectations ? if short term, yes you should have sold it all when the stock hit 52wk high. But it's not the first time MTA had such a run folllowed by a step back... Everytime it landed on it's 2 feet and returned stronger :)
Many times in the last 3 years one could have sold high and buy-back lower. but every time it's a gamble... one sure thing is, it's safe to sell a % every time the stock hit 52wk high...
In the long run, I don't see much of a lessons today, as the stock proved it can generate return for shareholders. MTA had terrible financials releases Friday (but they were expected due to Covid and on-going royalty portfolio). It's also expected soon the situation will improve, which is what the market generally reward.
Management received some free shares recently, but other then that, Brett & E.B. did not sold any of their shares... long term MTA will continue to be a winner :)
