IMETAL ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL RESULTS FROM SPECIAL MEETING AND APPOINTS PRESIDENT
iMetal Resources Inc. shareholders overwhelmingly voted in favour to pass a special resolution to approve the adoption of a new set of articles of the company, in accordance with the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia), at a special meeting of shareholders of the company held earlier today. Subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, the Company intends to move forward with the adoption of the new articles as soon as possible. Further information regarding the meeting, as well as a copy of the new articles, is available in the management information circular prepared by the Company for the meeting, a copy of which is available under the Company's profile on SEDAR.
The Company is also pleased to announce that Saf Dhillon, a director of the Company since December 2018, has been appointed as President, effectively immediately. Mr. Dhillon will be guiding the company as it looks to financing and unlock the value in its multiple projects with the primary focus on advancing the Gowganda West project in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. "I think it is important for the company to be structurally and financially sound as we further develop the Gowganda West project. We're especially excited as it resembles the highly prolific geology of both the Kirkland Lake and Timmins gold camp."
Johan Grandin, chief executive officer of iMetal, commented: "We are very excited and pleased to have Mr. Dhillon's increased involvement in the Company. I look forward to working more closely with him to develop our portfolio of projects."
