RE:RE:Update on the Portland Oregon dealership location

RE:RE:Update on the Portland Oregon dealership locationI think that a better comparison of GPV to other companies in the EV space as far as performance, or potential performance going forward, would be a comparison with electric bus maker NFI.  The reason that I am saying this is primarily that GPV and NFI are both multi passenger vehicle manufacturers and SOLO is a single passenger vehicle manufacturer that is just beginning initial production of it's single seat/passenger vehicle and these vehicles will be going to customers to fill pre-orders.  They do expect to have the first vehicles arriving in the US by November or December.  However, is suppose that if a vaccine, or a number of vaccines are developed and proven quite effective then, demand for the EV buses or a single seat vehicle, could go either way.  Demand for public transportation such as buses could return as people feel safer taking public transit again or people could remain quite jittery about being exposed to COVID-19 from persons that are not vaccinated or who choose not to be vaccinated and would prefer to have access to a single passenger vehicle to avoid such exposure.  It is important to note that a number of these single seat SOLO vehicles are going to be purchased as fleet vehicles used in deliveries operations or by individual sales and marketing people as there is only one person driving the vehicle so they don't need a much larger 4 , 6 or 7 passenger vehicle for driving around an urban centre to meet with clients or deliver meal orders from a restaurant.  The SOLO is, if I recall, currently the least expensive of any passenger vehicle in the EV space with a MSRP range of around $15,800.00 US$ or just over $18,000.00 Canadian.  If you go on ElectraMeccanica website on twitter you can get an idea on the showcased features and options that are available to anyone considering a SOLO vehicle to purchase or someone that might be interested in the company as an investment to add to their portfolio.  Both GPV and SOLO are just starting out and there is a lot of competition in both the bus EV/Coomercial EV space and the EV passenger vehicle space so it might be still a little early to see how these companies are going to fair.  At the present time I only have a small stake in SOLO and am waiting to see if there is a pattern of continual rise in demand and orders for the SOLO over the next few months and I also want to see if they are able to meet their goal of 5000 vehicles by the end of the year.  If I recall, when TSLA first went into production they had set a goal of 5000 vehicles rolling off the assembly line over a given time frame and they were having difficulties meeting that goal that Elon Musk had set for the company and market analysts were quite brutal in their criticism of the company and it's likelyhood of survival but they overcame their teathing problems and they are quite succesful as one can see from their current share-price.  Just to add some further information about SOLO in regard to vehicle models that they have in development.  SOLO is planning a SOLO Twin passenger vehicle and the higher priced $50,000.00 Toffino two passenger sports car that they are hoping to add to their line up within the next couple of years.  The Toffino comes with sleak sporty lines and will be available as a convertible.  One of the vehicles was used in the new Tom Cruise TOP GUN 2 movie that is expected out sometime in Q4 is I recall correctly.  SOLO also as an EV Roadster that they have been building in limited numbers at their facility in Vancouver, British Columbia.  Well, I hope this helps you with your comparisons.  Wish you many happy returns.
