RE:RE:RE:Analysis of Corps Mitigation LetterIf you look at page 8 of https://akmininginfo.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/koktuli-onrw-nomination1.pdf , it shows the watershed in question. Even if it is necessary to protect 20,000 acres in the watershed, the north west section is currently free of any mining claims or Native allotments. 20,000 acres is less 32 square miles, an area easily fitting into the NW section of the watershed. If the state is pro-mine, it shouldn't be hard at all to get them to declare a state park or wildlife refuge there. Alternatively, Pebble buys the development rights and turns them over to a non-profit conservation group, maybe even Trout Unlimited.
