RE:Reverse Ponzi Scheme 2.0
Angry bankers, lead galoshes, firewalls... what a healthy imagination you guys have ther, my oh my. You must be reading the same articles or doing the same drugs. If you think the 1.5bil loss is just the beginning with a company like this, then you might was well tell me that climate change will kill us all in 8 years. The cash burn and overall FFO impacts have already been priced in. If retail/hospitality can't pay, which they haven't, they get replaced by other fledgling retailers once the economy restarts. Prime real estate is key here (one of the reasons why BAM is buying more by taking advantage of the lack of capital investments around the world). They have the money to take advantage of the pandemic, and if you don't see the value in the numbers, that's your business. I'm not going to reiterate points that you should've read already in BAM/BPY reports, but if you see nothing but pain for the next 5 years then you're also welcome to pack yer bags with the rest of these jackals and go complain about something else.
