They are in the middle of negotiations. I dont know why you are catastrophizing when this was clearly not unexpected. Its a progression in negotations. And they are meeting frequently. If you dont want to participate, feel free to leave. Catastrophizing when its not some catastrophic event is not an appropriate response.
