SedarCannabis and Cannabis Derived Products & Company Services The Company:
(a) procures unprocessed bulk cannabis in flower, distillate and other forms from Canadian cultivators and refines and processes the material into finished goods (“Processes”) branded with either Company owned cannabis brands or licensed third party cannabis brands, for sale through the Company’s Medical Channel and Recreational Channel in Canada. The Company’s Processing facilities are equipped to undertake a number of Processes including processing bulk material into pre-rolled joints, jars, pouches, vape cartridges and vape pens in a variety of Health Canada approved sizes and, most recently, innovative in-house developed “glass-tasters” which contain 0.25 grams of dried cannabis allowing users to try different cannabis strains without committing to a larger purchase. These new glass-tasters are sustainable, affordable and lower the barrier of entry into trying dried cannabis. The actions described in this section (a) are generally described and referred to herein, as “Company Processing”.
(b) provides processing and distribution services (through its Medical Channel and Recreational Channel) to Canadian cultivators and other third parties that wish to have their own cannabis products available to purchase by Canadians but lack processing capacity or capabilities or appropriate licensing to do so themselves (“Bring-to-Market Services”).
Dried Cannabis;
The Company undertakes Company Processing and Bring-to-Market Services in respect of dried cannabis and cannabis pre-roll products for sale through the Medical Channel and Recreational Channel. During the next fiscal year, the Company intends to explore ways to improve operations at its Processing Facilities to realize improved returns on dried flower activities.
Cannabis Oil;
The Company utilizes its oil processing licence to extract from bulk cannabis, cannabis in liquid form as part of its Company Processing activities and Bring-to-Market Services. The ability to extract oil from dried flower aligns with the Company’s lean manufacturing vision for zero-waste in manufacturing processes. As of the date of this AIF, the Company sells branded cannabis oils through the Medical Channel and recreational market.
