RE:Haile question

RE:Haile question
recovery rate was way below expected. From the top of my head they thought to easily get a mid 90 % number instead they had mid 70 number. With investing in better grinding it got a bit better.

I looked it up for you :
The Company’s investment in upgrading the processing plant at Haile in 2018 and 2019 resulted in significantly improved mill productivity. From 2017 to 2019 year-end, milling rates nearly doubled, from 1.8 mtpa to 3.2 mtpa, and recoveries at the plant increased from 75% to 79%. The upgraded process plant is expected to achieve long-term milling rates of 3.5 to 4.0 million tonnes per year with gold recovery rates in the mid-80% range in support of approximately 200,000 gold ounces of production per year over the life of mine.

If I were to buy a mine, the first thing I would do is test a sample to see what I can get out off.
But I am no mining engineer, just an electronics engineer.
