RE:RE:5g ?

I don't think 5G handles the computing on the server end while the receiver of the signal can then use less computing power. My understanding of 5G is that it is simply much faster data transmission. The end user still has to be able to translate that information into useful functioning.

If it were as simple as 5G handling the computing for us, then one could presumably have an Oculus Quest and still be able to play the latest high-end VR game with full ultra graphics settings. That simply will not happen.
