Relationship between the share price of PYR and HPQ. Last June, on Agoracom, Bernard and Peter, in their respective forums, mentioned a relationship between the share price of the two companies at a level of 20%, without saying 20% of what. Since then, I have thought about it and observed the evolution of the two shares prices. Finally, I found that since June, the HPQ share price corresponds approximately to 20% of PYR's market capitalization, spread over the HPQ shares.
Thus, at the closing price of Monday of $5.07, 20% of the market capitalization of the 151M shares of PYR, spread over the 258M shares of HPQ gives: $0.5934...
If we round up to the higher cent, we get $0.60 : Surprise! That's the price that PYR paid for the HPQ shares on Tuesday...
