Shorty beating strategy

when news come out shorts start selling when sp start rising. Long should also sell 10 percent of their HPQ portfolio. Now shorts wait few days and then start playing with the stock. They move shares from one account to other and trying to lower the price. Long waits and when reasonable jump back in. Shorts will start losing shares and start covering. Just my opinion.
