HPQ Silicon Inc V.HPQ

Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

A MOAT with crocs ; )...no doubt HPQ will also be in a prime position to take advantage of any future use of Si in "non-aluminum" nano-composite metals/alloys.  A 5 yr old UCLA study showed promise in the use of 14% silicon carbide (nano-sized at < 100 nm) & 86% Magnesium...this newer metal alloy is stronger than aluminum despite its lighter weight...& smaller carbon footprint.  Just need to fire up them furnaces.  Good luck....

Cheers!

Thanks for thes links. I think they show that they are simply using but improving on the current battery technology being used today and I believe strongly that everyone will change the way they think about battery manufacturing once silicon is available at commercial scale and that is the reason they say Hpq is such a disruptive tech

Yep....Looks like HPQ is on the verge of soon having the privilege of monopolizing (dare I say that word ; ) the supply side of the Si-based battery equation, which makes this investment a no-brainer.  HPQ can prosper in its protected lagoon while letting the battery sharks feed on eachother.  Can't wait to get my hands on some shares...& can't wait to see what their future patent(s) offer.  I am sure there will be more to come as this technology evolves & HPQ further fine tunes/expands its production capabilities.
