Invesco Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt ETF V.PCY

Primary Symbol: PCY

The investment seeks to track the investment results (before fees and expenses) of the DBIQ Emerging Market USD Liquid Balanced Index (the underlying index). The fund generally will invest at least 80% of its total assets in U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds from emerging market countries that comprise the underlying index. The underlying index measures potential returns of a theoretical portfolio of liquid emerging market U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds.

RE:RE:Short positions for Silver Elephant is 6,474,649 shares

RE:RE:Short positions for Silver Elephant is 6,474,649 sharesIt appears that the short position is related to the release of shares on Sept 1.

Okay. 10,000,000 shares.

You have 1 million shares that are in the money. You short them to lock in the gain. It no longer matters if the stock goes up or down, the gain is locked in.

Why not just sell them and and walk away with the gain?

There must be something more to this trade.
