Tax question

Tax questionTo anyone here with a accounting or Canadian tax tax background. Is the conversion to the trust structure considered a disposition of the original shares? Can I realize a capital loss as my cost on the original shares was higher? Appreciate anyone’s help or a link to find information. Kind Regards.
