Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:national Bank updates price targetsAgain, I agree...all we can do is hold or sell...or if we are really bold, buy more and average down.

As common shareholders we have little other recourse.

It stinks.  Management that does not look after its own best interests is rare...I would be hard pressed to name a company that did not look after its executives.  When things go well, common shareholders get rewarded.  But we do nothing other than put up money in the hope we made the right bet.

I am uncertain where the oil industry is headed.  Right now I am here as Apple and Amazon products do not put fuel in my car or heat the house.

Hang in there...we are all facing the same frustrations.  Let's hope some of this bottom feeding of other entities pays off.
