RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:JuridictionJust to further your point about the cost of biocloud. $12k unit price is not expensive. I imagine a Covid saliva test will cost at least $5ish. 30 kids at $5 a day is $12k after 80 days. Toronto Transit Ridership was 1.7m pre-covid daily commutes, but current ridership is 35-40% so 6-700k commutes. To outfit the subway fleet with biocloud would be less than $10m. I think more people would ride as a result of the added safety measures. If it added and extra 200k daily commutes the cost is recouped after a couple months. These seem like really modest assumptions.

Each of these governments may be making decisions depending on the applicafion but with Covid all are looking to the federal government to pitch in some money for fighting Covid. So Ontario may sign some contract but bank on federal to throw in a few bucks to help. And I dont think one unit per school will be effective. More like one per classroom or one per subway car. Is it expensive? You bet. But what is the cost or has been the cost of not fighting Covid? How much did CERB cost? How much does a day in the intensive care unit cost? How much does a day of lockdown cost? But, anyhow, Kontrol has the technology, it has to be sold. The good thing is, KNR is not a one trick pony. It has its traditional core business that it has done reasonably well with for the company age. The unit is not just Covid unit. We all know there is and will be other nasty invisible stuff flying...the unit just needs a different cartridge that can be made as long as tests can be found. And tests will always be found because even with covid we figured it out. We are not out of the woods, but we are in the woods with not too many other players. And if things start rolling, we may be bought out by a giant who readily spends billions. It will be an exciting and nervewrecking few months. By Christmas morning we will have a much better idea.
