RE:RE:RE:Interview w/ Rich Geruson Chairman NXO Per last day's news
What the heck is Siliconized AI???
Rich Geruson, Paul McKenzie, and Kevin Gordon are responsible to build shareholder value for all our benefit. They are each brilliant in their own way, and today’s press release shines light on what kind of management team we really have working for us. Get excited, this is where we are headed.
Now that Qualcomm Snapdragon and nVIDIA's Jetson enabled devices are a done deal, what verticals are next for ALIIS to expand into? How about every imaging system out there that doesn't use Snapdragon or Tegra processors on board - which is the vast majority of the imaging market yet untapped by AI. Think about it: how do we get ALIIS into medical imaging devices, or security cameras, or ... Not every device out there has an AI SoC for ALIIS to use to run its algorithm on, and why require an expensive full blown AI processor to fix your image stream when all you need is the AI Accelerator, which is only a small piece of the AI processor.
The answer, which allows us to penetrate the remainder of the imaging market without requiring an expensive AI processor is to let the pros (the global semiconductor companies) take on the costs, and associated risks of design, fabrication, and distribution, and we license to them the rights to put ALIIS onto their white labelled ASIC (see below) with only the bare bones required to create a black box. This black box (ALIIS ASIC) receives the output of the image sensor on one side and streams out auto-corrected image / video feed on the other side. There are plenty of semiconductor companies like Motorola, etc., who would love to create the next "555 Timer" chip to boost their revenues!
According to Kevin Gordon, this ALIIS ASIC enabled device will be plug and play - it will simply takes its serial video data stream off the feet of the ALIIS ASIC instead of the feet that come out of the image sensor. Comprendo??? NXO is going to make using ALIIS as easy as sticking a black box in between the image sensor and its output. This simple, cost effective, low power upgrade of the device PCB allows for a better quality product, and we get a royalty on ALIIS per feature programmed into the ASIC. The ASIC manufacturer keeps the rest of the selling price to offset their costs and associated risks.
Our "Pure Play B2B AI Tech Start Up" image, along with its 50 to 150x P/E multiple, remains intact. Expenses are minimized and licensing revenue is free to flow in from hundreds of verticals.
When I first read today's press release, I was concerned that we were going back to being an electronic component supplier (yikes!), so I gave Kevin Gordon a call and I was relieved that he picked up the phone. We got into a technical discussion, which would honestly not help most people on this forum. I translated my take-aways into the above. I hope this helps you understand what "Siliconizing" the ALIIS Neural Network IP means.
