RE:RE:Would you keep the stock for 6 weeks or not?No one can tell the answer but right now it's about hitting more holes like the section recently reported to show there is size. Also, will they find better grades?? What are the chances they hit the best hole already after just a handful of drill holes? Pretty low imo! Though it didn't take them long to get into the good stuff. The Hemlo discovery hole was found after dozens of drill hole attempts.
Also think, Teck has visited the site and looked at all the data, past holes, and the few new holes, and felt compelled to go in for $10 million right away. That says a lot. Teck operates the Highland Valley copper molybdenum mine not far away, and that mine plan ends in 2027 (mining has been going on there for decades). Highland has only trace gold and silver in with the copper and molybdenum. A copper/gold deposit is so important now to the future, Barrick has even talked about how important these kinds of mines will be to their future.
Plus from what I gather in the interviews, there are OTHER TARGETS on the property, they are just at ONE TARGET now. Will there be more than one mine on this property? One giant supermine? Wouldn't Teck like to be starting up plans for a new mine, as Highland comes to an end or gets long in the tooth. Granted still very early days here and we don't have a mine yet, but think of the value if MPD develops into one?
Have a look at any major discovery stock chart in the past (e.g.: Voisey Bay), and you'll see the share price didn't go straight up. Usually the time period was over a year or several years, with ups and downs, and a big payout at the end. if the results keep coming in positive then ignore the daily noise and quiet periods. So far MPD has a lot going for it in what companies are looking for in a mine, just needs more drilling and proving up. My guess is that there is going to be some size to this deposit given that last drill hole, I can't imagine this is a small ore body.
