Randy Koroll will continue his role as the chief financial officer and Jean-Louis Larmor will transition back to his role as vice-president of corporate development. Gurdip Panaich, Chairman of the Board, stated, "The opportunity to expand the management team will allow for enhanced leadership, strategic focus, timely communication and execution associated with sales, product development, legal, financial audits and other important matters of the corporation. The board made the important decision to appoint two exceptional individuals to join the executive team. Amir Bhatti, who has played a pivotal role in the development of the STAR-A.D.S. system and has been instrumental in mandating real time aircraft tracking at the ICAO summit in 2015, is re-joining Star Navigation as the new CEO. Amir brings his leadership skills and a wealth of experience from the aviation industry and has an impressive track record of operational success that will add to the talent at the executive level. Anoop Brar, is a very energetic individual, who brings a wealth of business experiences across several industries. Anoop also brings a variety of other skills such as leadership, project management and strategic thinking. The board is grateful to Jean-Louis Larmor for assuming the role of interim CEO during a tough COVID period and has now transitioned back to his previous role as vice-president of corporate development." Mr. Bhatti, PEng, MBA, brings over 25 years of outstanding professional credentials in the areas of aerospace industry worldwide. He worked for De Havilland Aircraft of Canada, Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney Canada (teaching), and numerous Canadian aerospace companies prior to joining Star Navigation. Mr. Bhatti brings wealth of expertise in operations, engineering, manufacturing, aircraft assembly and quality systems. He holds a mechanical engineering degree and an MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business from London, Ont. He is a part time professor at Centennial College delivering aerospace and propulsion systems courses to various aerospace companies in the Toronto area. His forte is leveraging the power of technology and people to bring new and innovative products to market. Mr. Brar, PEng, PMP, MBA is a management consultant, entrepreneur and engineer who brings over 10 years of business experience across a number of industries. Mr. Brar started his career in 2010 as a project engineer with a major Canadian oil and gas company, managing and executing strategic capital and turnaround projects. In 2016, Mr. Brar founded a real estate development company with projects across Western Canada. Mr. Brar has a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Hult International Business School, London, England, United Kingdom. As a successful entrepreneur, Mr. Brar is a member of the board of directors of Star Navigation and is chairman of the audit committee. He brings management experience, strategic leadership, creative vision and a collaborative mindset to the corporation. Mr. Koroll continues in his role as the CFO and brings over 30 years of experience with a demonstrated history of successfully taking companies public on the TSX Venture Exchange and guiding companies in financial distress. Experience ranges from aviation, mining and finance industries. Skilled in investor relations, accounting, ipo, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions. Strong finance professional with a bachelor of arts focused in economics, history, philosophy from the University of Toronto. Mr. Larmor, brings over 20 years of experience in aerospace, defense and the space industry, demonstrating leadership and management skills, in international organizations as well as small corporations. Mr. Larmor brings his expertise in business development through strategic alliances, partnerships and cooperation. Mr. Larmor has been instrumental in the development of the Star-Medevac products, collaboration as a strategic partner for Bombardier's Global 7500 business jet and a number of military initiatives for the Star-MMI products.
