RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:🚂🚂🚂Bombardier and Alstom Sign Definitive Agreement🚂🚂🚂Of course, that should read 'its share of BT'

Jim99999 wrote: Of course CDPQ is selling their portion to Alstom. Do you think Alstom is interested in buying only part of BT? Did you even read the details of the deal when it was announced in February?

CDPQ and BBD are selling BT to Alstom. CDPQ takes the money it receives from Alstom for its share of BBD, adds in some more money of its own, and buys shares of Alstom with that money. CDPQ ends up as the largest Alstom shareholder.

This was all detailed in the press releases about the MOU back in February.

READ SECOND PARAGRAPH

IT SAYS "Under the SPA, Bombardier and la Caisse will sell their interests in Bombardier Transportation to Alstom on the basis of an enterprise value of $8.4 billion (EUR 7.15B), reflecting a $350M (EUR 300M) price reduction from the previously announced Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), offset by the impact of a more favourable currency exchange rate.
