Forecasts Past-Present Avoidance

Forecasts Past-Present AvoidanceA common complaint against the management of NSI is that they refuse to provide shareholders with some form of financial models, forecasts, expectations etc. in order for us to determine a valuation. Two common and frustrating responses by NSI have been that the securities regulators prevented them from making such statements and that the info can't be released due to customer confidentialities. A number of us argued that their excuses/responses was untrue and repeatedly requested the info. So far none has ever been provided. As an example of a VERY COMMON announcement (let’s pick a junior oil company trading on the CNDX) is today’s SEDAR release by Seventh Energy, which by the way is titled “ Seventh Energy Release 2001 Operating and Financial Forecasts”. The title alone suggests that NSI management is full of themselves. Within the release Seventh Energy’s management make predictions on the price of oil, price of gas, production estimates on both gas and oil, sources of funds along with amounts, details including conversion data of various share classes, and yes forecasts of earnings per share for 2001. They also provide some reasonable qualifications. Please check the release at the following site: https://www.sedar.com/data22/filings/00326607/00000001/g%3A%5CCCN%5CJAN_18%5CCALGARY%5CFLDR%5C0118SEV.PDF So, why is it the NSI has for ~5 years refused to provide similar worthwhile and useful information, and from all indications why is it that they continue to follow the practice of operating under a cloak of secrecy? Judging from the financial results to date there have been no shattering revenue producing deals that would justify the cloak and dagger approach. Is it embarrassment? What gives? In addition, fellow posters, what gives with all the concern over the website being under construction? It is just a website and will get done - it will not add $0.01 of value to the company while it is under construction, or after its completed and is back up and running. It seems to me that you would be more interested in demanding and obtaining quantifiable info concerning their business model. How is this company structured so that it can generate revenues and earnings to justify any share price level? Nobody seems to know and nobody seems to providing any info.
