To be honest, one of the reasons I came back to Stockhouse for a bit (it was actually gottahunch who brought my attention to) was some solid insights being brought up here. To be honest, some of your insights are quite insightful...I just wish folks would refrain from the high school locker room talk and personal attacks. There is no need for it, we are all just trying to sort through information and misinformation to facilitate some rational decision making. The last two years have been brutal. We've endured short attacks, fake walls, incompetent or corrupt CEOs, under supply, over supply, misinformation, no information, gold chains, man buns, Linton, Neufeld, Andy D, Booth, Chartman Dan's higher highs and lower lows with descending Bollinger Bands, LATAM, Jamaica, SAFE, MORE, COVID19, Ontario LIberal Government going to open1000 stores, PCs getting voted in (because we were tired of paying too much for hydro) and slamming the brakes on any stores, OCS startup issues, OCS online store competing with private stores trying to make a go of it, vapes supposedly damaging lungs (with Alberta cancelling the sales of them until it was proven to be black market VitE additive for thickener), and a whole host of other mind boggling "who knew" events like mold or worse, pesticides being used on organic grow. It's been a mind numbing misadventure that has cost many of us a lot of money. Do I think Aphria will be a moonshot? Nope. But I do believe it has the best shot of any of them in this screwed up sector that has completely shot itself in the foot. As I mentioned to Mr. Merton on Wednesday...there are two reasons I believe the multiples of Aphria are still nowhere near that of CGC. The first, and most obvious, is CGC has Constellation. No doubt Constellation is asking themselves what they were thinking...but there they are. The second reason Aphria suffers from a low multiple is trust. Investors need some transparency and some clarity on where this is going. All the best. Honestly, if I come across any information that is worthwhile sharing I will. But I have no desire to engage in spiteful banter. Kindest regards, sky pilot.
Solid post . I like how you broke down the hurdles the sector had to overcome . Dont forget fake walls at canntrust and that whole mess ..Aphria contribute their fare share of scandals thats for sure . Even simon kept it going after he took CEO spot it didnt stop .
Only thing i disagree with is STZ asking themselves what they were thinking . They put that to bed when they exercised the warrants earlier this year . Alcohol sales are dropping and they see THC/CBD beverages taking some of the huge market seltzers currently have . The bigger picture for them is the states market . They will continue to execute and bring superstars to the table like patrick mahommes and Martha Stewart ect
