HPQ Silicon Inc V.HPQ

Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

Just to remind everyone this really wasn't surprising news if you paid attention to previous interviews, back in the second NDA interview Bernard hinted at this. And Renaissance posted a link to Apollon's page which showed the hydrogen generator, about a month and a half ago? I think. On that note maybe check the old interviews for other hints we might have missed or forgotten about for just how HUGE Hpq is going to be lol. For instance Bernard stated in one of the interviews the concept for porous nano silicon cane from the medical field. Truly EXCITING times!

That last statement got me...in a good way.  Once the medical field thoroughly understands the degradation mechanisms for porous Si (in particular Mesoporous Si as a nano-drug carrier) & concludes it's clinically safe (depending on indication), this "clinical" application can potentially dwarf all others.  In the meantime, there continues to be growing research in the medical applications in the fields of cancer, & the need remains for a reliable source of scalable/reproducible high-grade nano porous/Mesoporous Si for academicians/researchers globally.

Compared to other nano-carriers, Mesoporous Si seems to be most beneficial in terms of its ability to be easily "functionalized" for targeted/high-dose drug delivery as evidenced in many preclinical studies.  Specifically, it's transmucosal delivery applications seem to hold great promise...that is, if clinical toxicity can be minimized via various modifications (changes in Mesoporous structural stability, chemical functionalization & drug dosage to name a few).  Imo, if there remains a need, science will always find a way...& it appears they're getting closer to a solution.

The future of HPQ Si (& now HPQ H2) appears even brighter...I always felt there is no better way to beat the competition than by having a stake in all sides.

Oops...meant to add..."in the fields of cancer & infectious disease..."
