RE:RE:updateWho would want to sign up Forest Service that releases articles that are so factually incorrect it's laughable. The original 300 million dollar payment from canopy to acreage did not get reduced. The three hundred million dollars for the original deal was already paid to acreage and distributed to its shareholders. The 30-plus million they are now paying was to compensate acreage shareholders for the renegotiation of the deal. This 30 + million dollar payment they are making for the amended deal has absolutely nothing to do with the original 300 million dollar payment that was already made and distributed to acreage shareholders. Just goes to show how many uneducated bassoons are out there writing articles that they know nothing about.

My first attempts at understanding this makes it look very lucrative but the feedback I am getting from posters is not the same as I have figured, so others are confused too. I would like to see what the guys who wrote the amendment come up with from a professional understanding of the terminology within with some dollar values. I want to pick up some more Acreage but won't until I have a clear understanding of the latest amendment that was voted in with a 99%ish approval rate by shareholders. I will let you know if I get a reply from Canopy. glta and dyodd
