RE:hy the big drop?Huge spread between BIDS and ASKS, for the Preferreds. Combine that with Low Volume/Liquidity easy for Price to jump up or down. Also, easy to manipulate.
For awhile now, often someone selling down to the BIDs, 100 shares only. Often happens near the end of the day. Makes the Technical Charts look bad.
I'm not worried. I wasn't planning to sell any time soon anyways unless price jumps up to maybe the $20-$25 range at which point the Yield would be low enough that I could get that from almost anywhere.... Maybe a Bank Preferred. But don't expect that to happen any time soon. Many of the Banks Preferreds are hitting the $25 "upper limit"....Because of this, Husky yield just may match the banks some time in the near future. Normally, I would expect Husky Preferred Yielding a higher Yield than a Banks Preferred always, but with them hitting the $25, I don't see them going too much higher. The risk of redemption is there.
So, I'm expecting strange things to happen..... This is what happens when markets are Manipulated. Strange things start to happen.
