IMO, There are 2 fulltime S&D /Bashers on the board (you know who they are) - with twisted facts, supplying no links, making defamatory statements against HEXO with no regard for investors. It's actually illegal.
The SP is dropping today because of the Sector Influences which is common after bad news and even sometimes good news depending on what sector the SHORTS are working....Aurora News yesterday was not good...the Business of Short Selling is about keeping the stock price down as low as possible for them to make money. These guys are taking adavantage of Aurora's news by trying to make people believe this will be HEXO next month. Investors make money by investing in a company that does well and SP goes up, up, up - whereas SHORT Seller don't care if the company is healthy or doing well, they make money by convincing investors to get out by spreading fear in order to drop the SP, even if it kills/brankrupts the company . Investors buy into the fear and the masses sell which drives the SP down! Investors lose money and SHORTS make money, rinse and repeat.
IMO, The best way to get rid of the SHORT SELLERS is to drive the price up so they in turn get squeezed out of their positions and loss their money X 10 fold.....they don't actually own shares they just borrow them from the bank, betting the SP will be driven down, if that doesn't happen they lose their shirt while investors are reaping the rewards of their investment..
If you are looking for more techinal rational then poise the question to QUINN but this is my understanding of the strategy.... this is a real thing , also easy to research
