Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:ACB finishes green unbelievable Irwin SimonI get why you are frustrated. Admittedly there are some glaring questions such as why IS apparently does not own any stock. Is it because he is a resident of USA and legal issues. I do not buy the "conflict of interest" as the CFO has hundreds of thousands of shares. I also ask myself why I only see him once a quarter, last time in a white lab coat pretending to be spending time on the floor. But...and this is an important but...who else is ready, able, or willing to take on this anvil? I was actually impressed by the ACB CEO. When is the last time you ever heard a CEO in this sector actually recognize another company's good decisions. As you stated, I would have loved to see Aphria PR Team (is there one) getting a NR out where IS thanks ACB for the just assuming it was directed at Aphria. Too many focus on the Leamingham reference, or his apparently passing gas in the middle of an interview, or worse, making that 1B promise and then elaborating on why they could not do it. Give the guy a bit of a break...he has got other companies to run, a growing chain of hotels, and a professional hockey team to run.
