Look at Tata - they gave up on their option on the most attractive properties. The truth of the matter is that holding these properties becomes more and more expensive as time goes by and NML doesn't have the resources to continue to hold them as their cost of holding increases. This deal gives investors a second shot at a development stage entity with enormous upside.
